Video of Women in Communal Kitchen Struggling to Put Out Pot on Fire Amuses South Africa

Online users were in stitches watching young women try to control a kitchen fire. The ladies, presumably in a residence were losing it as they watched flames erupt in the kitchen.

The video shared on X received thousands of likes from amused people. Online users commented on the video in stitches over the chaotic kitchen.

In a TikTok video shared by @VehicleTracker8, a person using a communal kitchen was trying to put out a fire. A pot on the stove was ablaze, and when the first girl couldn't put it out, another one tried to use the wooden handle of a mop to remove the pot while it was on fire. She failed too until another young lady took decisive action using the mop, she was able to pull the pot onto the floor and then poured hot water over it. After she was done, she dropped the mop carelessly and walked away without looking back.

Kitchen fires should be put out by putting a lid over it to smother the flames or putting a wet cloth over it. According to CWS, pouring water can make a grease fire worse. Many people thought the young lady who fixed this situation was hilarious with her demeanour after putting it out.
