The Ndlovu Youth Choir turned an ordinary Edinburgh street into something unforgettable. While performing in Scotland during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the choir stumbled upon a bride having her wedding photos taken outside a stone building. Without hesitation, they broke into song to celebrate her.
The choir shared the video on Facebook on 24 August 2026 with the caption: “While singing on the streets of Edinburgh, we spotted a Makoti (bride) having her wedding photos taken. We couldn’t help ourselves and we had to serenade her and wish her a lifetime of love and joy.”
The clip, which showed the performers in their signature teal promotional jackets singing to the bride, quickly spread across social media and had South Africans at home reaching for their tissues.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir is a South African choral group founded in Limpopo. The choir rose to international fame after competing on America’s Got Talent, where their bold Afro-pop sound and energetic performances won them a global fanbase.
