A South African TikToker woke up to devastating news on 15 September 2026 and decided she had to say something. Posting from her bedroom, @_miss_q2 told her followers she had gone to campus with four bodies reported, returned to five, and woken up to six. "I am panicking. I am not okay," she said, before walking viewers through everything she had pieced together.

Working from a photo she had seen of where the five bodies were found, the creator described a striking geographical pattern. She said the sites formed a near-straight line, with only one outlier: a woman found behind a hotel, though still within the same road corridor. All five locations sat within a 25-kilometre radius of each other.

Her theory centred on routine. She argued that a killer continuing to operate within the same district, staying within roughly 45 kilometres across incidents, was likely doing so because they could not move freely. She suggested the suspect was probably married with a family, making unexplained overnight absences impossible without raising suspicion.

She also turned her attention to how the victims, believed to be joggers, could have been approached. Someone moving at pace, in an open area, would not easily be grabbed by force, she reasoned. Her conclusion was that the suspect was likely charming, harmless-looking and possibly drove a presentable vehicle, using friendliness rather than aggression to draw victims close.
