A distressed woman has opened up about her bitter relationship with her husband, who agonisingly betrayed her.
Winfred Mwangangi noted she had been married to her husband for over half a decade despite their difficulties.
They were blessed with three children, all boys, in their relationship, but after Mwangangi delivered their third, life became chaotic.
Couple makes plan to sell furniture
Speaking to Briefly News, Mwangangi said at one point, they needed money after her husband mismanaged some of their funds.
"He had given some of our savings to his mother, which we had saved under the mattress. I needed that money badly. Because I wanted to bounce back into business. Since there was no money, we had to make a plan.
"We had bought furniture for that house. I told my husband that we would sell the furniture so that I could raise the money to go back to business," she narrated.
Buying French beans in Mwiki market
The Kitui woman said her husband agreed to that as he could not get money to give his wife for her business.
"He sent me to buy peas in Mwiki market. When I returned from Mwiki, I found he had packed the furniture on a truck and left.When I called him, he did not pick up.
"Then after two weeks he called and told me that he had left me, that I should take charge of my life. I even screamed at that. People had me screaming. I felt that I was completely broken," she said.
