An Atlanta-based lifestyle creator got her followers talking after sharing a raw, unplanned first look at the penthouse she and her family checked into in Johannesburg. Zaria Williams, known online as @mrs.zariawilliams, posted the clip on 20 September 2026, and South Africans were quick to make the American family feel right at home.
The video was anything but a polished room tour. The couple had just landed in South Africa after their luggage went missing somewhere in Ethiopia, and Zaria was already filming. Her husband Jarvis walked her through the Inspiration Penthouse for the first time, and the camera captured every genuine reaction.
Inside the Joburg penthouse
The unit did not disappoint. The two-bedroom penthouse featured large porcelain-tiled floors, an L-shaped couch, and a modern granite kitchen. One bedroom boasted a chandelier above the bathtub, quartz countertops, and a marble-fitted bathroom with a separate shower and toilet. A staircase led up to a second level with a full living and dining area, a bar sink, and an outdoor rooftop deck complete with a pool and sweeping Johannesburg skyline views.

Zaria's reaction said it all. She immediately asked for the Wi-Fi so she could phone her mother.
In her caption, she wrote that there were whole parts of the penthouse she didn't even think to record because she was genuinely just taking it all in. She described it as one of her favourite moments to share with her followers, adding that getting to relive it was a highlight of documenting their travels.
Zaria is a Registered Nurse, entrepreneur, and Chief Operating Officer of Social Express Catering alongside Jarvis, who is an executive chef and CEO. The pair also co-founded Chef's Château, a luxury private culinary estate in the Metro Atlanta area.
