Instead of passing, he unleashed a long-range shot which escaped the hands of goalkeeper Alexander Nubel.

“I knew I had Kylian and Vini, but at that moment the best option was to shoot," the Brazil star said via Sportbible.

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was impressed with Endrick's decision to take the shot, per ESPN.

"Endrick had courage. It was the last move of the game. He was convinced he'd score. He went for the most difficult solution, but it went well."

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said Mbappe and Vinicius would've been angry if the shot didn't go in.

"If he missed, they [Vinicius and Mbappé] would have killed him!" he said. "But if he has the confidence to shoot...If he scores, everyone keeps quiet!"

The youngster has scored twice in five matches this season, per Transfermarkt.
