A Kaizer Chiefs fan has found himself at the end of jokes after his “ducking” TV camera incident during a live Betway Premiership game on Sunday against Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

In the season opener, won 2-0 by Amakhosi after goals from Nkosiniphile Ngcobo and Makabi Lilepo, the moment was televised on SuperSport.

In true Coldplay concert style, reminiscent of the AI company CEO and Human Resources Executive who were caught on the “kiss cam”, the fan was also seen, albeit live on TV.

Briefly News previously reported that a loyal Kaizer Chiefs supporter won a brand-new car over the weekend following the match between Amakhosi and Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Vuyolwethu Vatsha, a 33-year-old from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu-Natal, was the proud winner of a Toyota Starlet, valued at approximately R300,000.

The competition, sponsored by Kaizer Chiefs in partnership with its commercial partners, saw five lucky finalists each receive a key and a chance to unlock the prize vehicle. Vatsha was the only one whose key started the car, and he drove it home.
