Khoza addresses PSL ownership false claims
In an interview with iDiskiTimes, Khoza rubbished the ongoing rumours and talks about him owning the PSL and wondered how some people arrived at such claims.
“How do they arrive at that? Khoza questioned.
“What’s the basis for these claims? Just because some supporters are frustrated with their team’s performance, and they point fingers at me. But how could I be solely responsible when there’s an executive committee of ten members?"
The SAFA vice-president went on to clarify that there is also a board of governors which comprises of representatives from all clubs in the PSL, and they meet on regular basis.
"There’s also a board of governors made up of representatives from all 32 clubs. We hold regular meetings, and never once has there been a motion of no confidence against me," Khoza continued.
"So where is this coming from? It sounds like someone is unhappy and trying to spread falsehoods or tarnish my reputation.”

The Orlando Pirates chairman emphasised that many don’t realise the struggles he and veteran league executive Dr. Kaizer Motaung Sr have faced to keep the sport alive.
“People aspire to be like me or Kaizer Motaung, but they don’t see the sacrifices and challenges we’ve endured,” Khoza added.
“If you really looked beneath the surface, you’d witness the internal battles we’ve fought over the years. Running football is more than a job, it’s a calling. We’ve invested so much into building this brand. With 32 clubs and a governing board, it’s never about just one person.
“But make no mistake, I will defend this game and everything it stands for with all my strength.”
