Wendy Parker has signalled that her marriage to former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana star Bernard Parker remains intact, updating her social media profile picture to one featuring the couple as his personal life attracts public attention.
The gesture came after Bernard, 40, found himself at the centre of a social media storm following the circulation of a statement attributed to him, in which he allegedly announced a split from a woman identified as Kacha Stepanovic. The statement described a three-year relationship between the two. Bernard has since denied that he posted it.
Wendy signals a united front
On Facebook, Wendy replaced her solo profile picture with an image of herself alongside Bernard, prompting a wave of supportive comments from followers.

Kacha Stepanovic, a businesswoman who claims Bernard is the father of her baby girl, has not stayed silent. She posted on her Instagram Stories: "Therapy is not enough. He needs to know people congratulated me when we broke up."
Kacha has two older sons from her previous marriage to rapper Bantu Hanabe, known professionally as Ntukza, who was a member of the hip-hop group Teargas.
