Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has criticised Disney for the live-action remake of Snow White and The Seven Dwarves.
Appearing on Marc Maron's WTF Podcast on Monday, January 24, the actor slammed Disney for their use of dwarves in the movie, labelling it "backwards".
The filmmakers had announced that West Side Story's Rachel Zegler would play the princess and Gal Gadot the Evil Queen in the 1937 animated movie.
According to CNN, the 52-year-old thespian said he was struck by the move to cast a Latina actress as Snow White.

He urged Disney to take a step back and visualise what they were coming up with as it made no sense, considering they called it progressive but still returning to the 'backward' story.
"...You're still making that f---ing backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together, what the f--- are you doing man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I'm not loud enough," Dinklage said.
He advised that the story could still be told, but it needed an update to today's standards and progressive spin.
Disney respond to Dinklage
In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, Disney responded to the actor - saying that the film intended to take a different approach with the seven characters.
They noted to have consulted with members of the dwarfism community and would share more as the film heads into production.
The development process is expected to take some time, with reports the movie is still years from release.
