Makhadzi was snubbed by the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) this year. The artist shared her disappointment on social media and Mzansi has her back. Taking to social media, many fans pointed out that the awards authority has snubbed two Limpopo artists in a row.

Last year, Master KG was snubbed for his Jerusalema track and this year, the Limpopo-born Makhadzi received the same treatment.

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Mzansi singer Makhadzi did not receive a nomination for a South African Music Award (SAMA) and is disappointed about this situation. Makhadzi took to social media to let her followers know that he submitted everything that was required but maybe they didn't like her music.

"I submitted SAMAs nomination forms but unfortunately maybe I didn’t meet their requirements," she tweeted.

The SAMAs have released their nominations for all categories and Mzansi has been reacted to the news on social media. Makhadzi has had a good run so far and her fans are confused about why she wasn't even considered for a single award.

Social media users reacted to Makhadzi's tweet and a few offered her some words of comfort so she can deal with the situation.
