Mzansi rappers took to social media to congratulate Cassper Nyovest after he signed an epic R100 million Legacy Deal with Drip Footwear's CEO Lekau Sehoana on Tuesday, 8 June. The signing ceremony took place at The Leonardo Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg.
The sneaker deal is not only a win for Mufasa but it is also good for the hip-hop scene in the country. Mufasa has said it time and again that he wants to be South Africa's first hip-hop billionaire and judging from all the deals he is bagging lately, he is surely on his way to making a billion rand.
Mzansi social media users and celebs took to their favourite social media apps and congratulated the rapper on signing the deal. Briefly News takes a look at four SA rappers who also congratulated Cassper Nyovest after he signed the major deal.
The One by One hitmaker Rouge took to Twitter and wrote:
"Talk about creating generational wealth. This is massive."
2. Big Zulu
The Imali Eningi hitmaker also took to Twitter and congratulated Cassper for being a good example. Big Zulu, who described Mufasa as a hero, wished the rapper more success.
The Sebentin rapper also made sure that he also congratulates his rap industry peer on his big win. Zakwe wrote:
The rapper took to Mufasa's comment section on Instagram and shared his thoughts on his deal. The star hilariously commented:
"Congrats Nyovisto. Borrow me a thou."
Black Coffee reacts to Cassper's deal
