DJ Maphorisa is not known for his modesty and he took it up a notch when he recently implied he ran the Mzansi music scene.

After a series of tweets bigging himself and his artists up, Phori tweeted, "Who runs South Africa musically?"

Even Phori's own fans stepped up to say he's doing too much now.

Tiyiselani Josini wrote, "Yima nyana (Wait a minute)."

Lucky Tau said, "I'm starting to dislike Maphorisa's ego. It's annoying now."

And Given Marothi asked, "You want fans to say it's you so that you can boost your fading confidence."

Black Coffee stepped in to modestly say, "No one."

We've got to stan a humble king, as Black Coffee is rumoured to command $USD100 000 per gig.

Maphorisa, on the other hand, has let his Twitter fingers run away with him and managed to get into twars with several of his musical counterparts.

Most recently, he put Lady Zamar, Mafikizolo and Prince Kaybee on blast for not owing their masters.
