Born on September 25th, 1971, in a small Namibian town called Omaruru, Sonia Aletta Nel arrived as a blessing to her parents. The town is located between Windhoek and Swakopmund. It is from there that she natured her taste and love for making music. The very blessed icon later moved to Windhoek and hoped for her dreams in music to come true. Sonia Aletta Nel went to two primary schools after which she graduated in 1989 from Academia High School. She still strived to attain nothing but the best by getting a scholarship to take Light Music at the Tshwane University of Technology in 1990.
