- A man took to Facebook to share the amazing news that he popped the question to his fiancé and she said yes

- They both lost their jobs this year due to Covid-19 and he was worried she might leave him

Potlaki Generalpk Mokhethi took to Facebook to announce that he had decided to end 2020 big. He proposed to his fiancé on 22 December 2020 and naturally, she said yes.

He shared the inspirational story in the #ImStaying group on Facebook. He revealed that they both lost their jobs due to Covid-19 and he was worried that she might leave him due to their financial situation.

He was delighted when she stuck by him and he declared that he loves her with all his heart.

"My fiancé and I have been together since 2017, when we first met we were both working then came 2020 March when covid attacked our beautiful country we both lost our jobs, knowing how woman are when it comes money I thought I might lose her but guess what she's been there with me till date, on the 22-12-2020."

In related news, proposals are often mushy and romantic but this guy decided to be different - getting straight to the point. In a clip that was uploaded to Twitter, the man can be seen putting the ring box into his woman's hand.

Surrounded by family and friends, @Mhayise decided that the best way to propose to his lady was to tell her exactly what's on his mind, forgoing the bending of knees and the usual flowers that men usually opt for when proposing.

'This is how a Zulu man proposes.," he captioned the short Twitter clip.
