AKA has revealed that he has signed the contract to his boxing match with arch-rival Cassper Nyovest. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, 7 January and told a fan that the fight will be happening.
The tweep had asked if the highly-anticipated bout was ever going to happen. The two stars decided to settle their differences in a boxing ring after their long-standing beef. Although the date of the fight has not been confirmed, the Fela In Versace rapper replied:
"If I could post a picture of my signature I would."
Supa Mega went on to tell his fans that he cannot walk away from the fight because he stands to make serious money out of it.
"You need to understand... the bag is too serious to ignore."
A tweep @Vumase_BM then asked the musician-turned-TV presenter how much the winner of the fight will take home. AKA replied:
"Contractually I’m not allowed to disclose this type of info."
In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Cassper Nyovest took to social media in December to taunt AKA about their much-anticipated boxing match. Mufasa, who is ready to settle their beef in the boxing ring, shared that he's going to "punish that boy" during their fight.
The Amademoni hitmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday, 8 December to shade AKA for being reluctant when it comes to signing their boxing match contract. Mufasa said:
"Mxm. All talk. They thought I was walking away all these times cause I was scared maybe when I was just being smart and protecting my career. Now it's time to sign and get in the ring. Crickets. Let's go! Sign papa! It's time to pay!"
Cass also shared that the contract has been sent to AKA but he has not signed yet. He urged Supa Mega to sign so they could settle their differences in the ring.
"One thing about me, I will do what I say I'm going to do!!! I am telling you I'm going to punish that boy in the ring!!! Trust me!!! I just need him to sign and show up like he always talking!!! No more ducking and diving. The papers are with him and there are no disputes. Sign!!"
