The Covid-19 pandemic has been hard on every industry and the entertainment industry is also suffering. Record producer Prince Kaybee shared that he doesn't think that some artists will make it out of this pandemic unscathed.
Prince Kaybee took to social media to share his concerns about what he thinks will happen to some artists once Covid-19 is over.
"Unfortunately some artists are going to lose momentum to an extent they might never make it back financially after this pandemic," said Prince Kaybee.
Even though the record producer doesn't believe that everyone will make it after the pandemic, he shared that there is still a glimmer of hope for some.
Prince Kaybee then decided to give some artists some advice on how to pick themselves back up once this is over. He said that musicians needed to negotiate better with brands that want to use their music:
"Yes you need the money but what if the pandemic goes for a year again? Did you negotiate well enough to keep you afloat for the duration of this crisis?"
Kaybee spoke about how some brands exploit artists and only pay them a minimal amount for using their work. Not only is he a good record producer, but the Gugulethu hitmaker is street-smart too.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Prince Kaybee is set to appear on AKA's popular show called The Braai Show. AKA has announced that Prince Kaybee will be one of his guests on one of the upcoming episodes of The Braai Show.
Supa Mega took to social media recently to show his appreciation to the Hosh hitmaker for availing himself for an interview to be aired on The Braai Show.
The rapper-turned TV presenter took to Twitter on Wednesday night, 13 January and posted a snap of himself and the award-winning DJ standing next to their luxurious whips.
The star also mentioned that he took Kaybee's Mercedes Benz for a spin when they met on the day.
