They reckon that a man who does this is mature.

Then there is the group that is composed of chauvinists who have been raised to believe some things are a no go zone for them.

It is not easy to convince such to go shopping for pads, and in the event they accept, chances are they need constant confirmations and clarity on the brand or size, and chances are that they will take home the wrong one.

Men have also expressed concern that the reason some fear doing so is that some women give them weird looks when they are seen at the counter with pads.

But when you take a step back and look at the issue, you realise that society should normalise men buying sanitary pads for the women in their lives.

This is due to the fact that monthly periods are a natural phenomenon that even men should embrace and live with.

As a matter of fact, men should be encouraged to play an active role in doing so.

Taking to social media, Mazwai asked her followers to help her find sanitary pads at wholesale prices so that she could purchase them for distribution.
