American actor Malcolm Jamal Warner, who starred opposite Kings of Joburg star Malik Yoba in Empire, passed away at the age of 54.

According to media reports, the Cosby Show star, who acted alongside Meagan Good in Reed Between The Lines, died on Sunday, 21 July.

Social media user @modestyqueen19 shared a video on X of Jamal Warner's last video before his passing.

In the video, the actor has a flower on his ear, smiles, and encourages people to always find a reason to smile.

"You guys notice the flower in my ear? It's my daughter's birthday, and she put the flower there. I'm rocking it.
"It's a beautiful day in Atlanta. Life is out here lifing. J just wanted to remind you, remind myself that no matter what's going on, there's always a reason to smile.
"And if for some reason you can't find a reason to smile, that's the best time to be the reason for someone else to smile," says the star.
