A new dance challenge recently broke out, and a group of South African celebrities had some fun recreating the moves - or trying to.

Trust TikTok to come up with another dance challenge while South Africans are still reeling from the Biri Marung challenge. Now, a new hit has entered the charts and is making waves on social media.

Khadeair's smash hit, Magumba, was dropped on 17 July 2025 and already has a dance challenge days into its release.

Seemingly created by TikTok user callydancer_, the viral dance moves have been attempted by many social media users, and some celebs decided to join the fun.

Natasha Thahane and Desmond Dube are among the stars who attempted the Magumba dance challenge on 22 July 2025, and had a good laugh while doing it.

The Blood and Water actress is back with some more dance moves, and this time she posted a video of herself and a group of stars, including Lerato Mvelase, Bonko Khoza, Sphamandla Dhludhu and Dube himself.

Like the song says, the gang looked like they were desperately looking for Magumba (money), and Mvelase and the Clientele brand ambassador stood in front and did not break character while searching high and low..

The team was on set for the upcoming Netflix drama series, Marked, premiering on 31 July, with Mvelase as the leading lady.
