Former Skeem Saam and Imbewu: The Seed actress Vuyiseka Cawe has been named in the fraud case linked to Jub Jub’s Lyta Motlakase scandal.

The Uyajola 9/9 TV personality is reportedly being investigated for R120 000 fraud after he allegedly failed to settle a loan he borrowed for an event in December 2024.

The musician, who was previously accused of r*pe by his ex-girlfriend, has been accused of fraud. City Press previously revealed that the musician and TV personality owes money to several people for hosting an event.

The publication recently revealed that former Imbewu: The Seed actress Vuyiseka Cawe has been named in Jub Jub's fraud case.

Cawe is accused of defrauding a Thembisa woman of R200 000. The woman, Mapule Maseko, claims that she invested R200 000 after being promised a 15% return linked to the Lyta Motlakase event staged by Jub Jub and partners.

Jub Jub reacts to the withdrawal of assault charges

In more entertainment news, Briefly News previously reported that Jub Jub felt relieved after having his sexual assault charges withdrawn in court.
