Nadia Nakai Shares More Details About Season 2 of Her Reality Show ‘Beyond Bragga’

Rapper Nadia Nakai could not contain her excitement over the return of her reality TV show.

Naa Mean hitmaker will be making her highly anticipated return to reality TV with the upcoming season of her show. Nadia took to Instagram to announce that Season 2 will premiere on 6 September 2025 on BET Africa.

"Season 2 of my reality show Nadia-Beyond Bragga airs on the 6th of September on @bet_africa at 19:00CAT. Set your reminder, Doll!"

The show first premiered on 12 October 2024 on the international channel, BET Africa.

Nadia Nakai's last stint on reality TV was on Young, Famous and African, which aired on Netflix. The rapper joined Season 2, where her storyline was centred on losing AKA.

However, in Season 3, she had a fallout with Annie Idibia, and they had a heated exchange. Many fans were not sure if Nadia would stay on the show, but it seems like she planned on returning. When the show excluded her, she took to TikTok to troll the production.

“When YFA didn’t ask you to come back for the new season, because they’d rather have drama than realness.”

Nadia speaks on Beyond Bragga

The rapper shared with True Love that the reality TV show came at the right time in her life.

"I think it could be an inspirational story because I've been in the game for a very long time, you know? And I think people think you get ahead because you're light-skinned or you're pretty or you get nice hair and nails or a nice bum, it takes so much more than that!"

Nadia found it refreshing to finally be able to be her own boss and make her own decisions, outside of Cassper Nyovest and Family Tree. The star aimed to be an inspiration to a lot of women who are up and coming.

"There's always been like a little bit of a crutch of a bigger artist that was in front of me that was doing so much more than me, that kind of like uses (me] as a security pack. And I think this is the first time I'm trusting my own opinions. I'm trusting my own ear. What songs I want to release, how I wanna come out, what I wanna do."
