Have you ever wondered what some of your favourite South African celebrities studied in school? In the complex world of entertainment, many young fans have been led to believe that education is not important.

However, some famous stars are making school cool again by completing their degrees and proving that having an education is the major flex.

We take a look at the famous faces who've successfully bagged their qualifications, and first up, we have MaWhoo, who completed a degree in Education. The famous singer is more than just a pretty face, but she is highly educated as well.

Despite facing backlash for her broken English in the past, MaWhoo has invested in her education, demonstrating that academic success is not about using complex language.

Actors and actresses who completed their degrees in their field include Shaka iLembe star Lebogang Tsipa, actress Lunathi Mampofu, and Vuyo Biyela, who each obtained qualifications in Live Performance.

Among them are celebs with degrees unrelated to their careers, such as Sithelo Shozi, who holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Media Studies.

Adulting star and pageant winner Fezile Mkhize graduated with a medical degree from the University of Cape Town in 2014 and specialises in cardiothoracic surgery.

Phindile Gwala, best known for her role on Muvhango as Nonny, holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship, while rapper Nadia Nakai possesses a Bachelor of Marketing, Communications and Media Studies.

Social media users weighed in on the celebrities' impressive qualifications, and many weren't buying MaWhoo's qualification:
