It's not every day that you see top legendary actresses in one room gushing over each other's successes and celebrating one another. Still, recently, Lorcia Cooper-Khumalo, Linda Sokhulu, Zikhona Sodlaka, and Winnie Ntshaba had many netizens gushing over their friendship and closeness on social media.

An online user @Sadmethod posted a video of these phenomenal women of the entertainment industry on Thursday, 28 August 2025, on X (formerly Twitter) during their latest radio interview on Power FM. This clip touched many, as they are not used to seeing the OGs in one room, laughing and having a good time.

Believe it or not, these are some of the women in the industry who paved the way for all young aspiring female creatives eager to join the showbiz world. Lorcia is best known for her roles in the popular television serials Backstage, Scandal!, Lockdown and Red Ink, and in films Hey Boy and Zulu Wedding, and Winnie Ntshaba is popular for her role in Generations on SABC 1 and her current role as Faith Zwide on House Of Zwide. She began her career in the 2000s before making her breakthrough in Yesterday.

Sannah Mchunu and more SA stars react to Nandi Nyembe’s death

In more entertainment news, Briefly News previously reported that popular Generations: The Legacy actress Sannah Mchunu is heartbroken by the passing of legendary actress Nandi Nyembe.

In April 2025, Mchunu made headlines for assisting Nyembe with groceries. She has now reacted to Nyembe's passing. South Africans took to social media on Sunday, 24 August, to pay tribute to the veteran actress, who turned 75 on 19 August.
