In the days following the death of Prince Kaybee's mother, it is clear that the pain is overwhelming for the Gugulethu hitmaker.

According to politician Kenny Kunene's sudden announcement, Kaybee's mom passed away on 3 September 2025. The musician has been struggling to come to terms with her loss, expressing his grief and heartbreak in his social media posts.

Looking back to simpler times, when he was younger and his mom was still alive, Kaybee shared a touching throwback picture of himself and his "oulady" on 8 September.
