DJ Maphorisa is trending on social media after a video of a man who sounds eerily like him surfaced online.

Right after Briefly News shared pictures of Porry's lookalikes, we now have the DJ's soundalike, who so happened to be a disappointed father complaining about his son's poor grades.

The now-viral clip, posted on 7 September 2025, shows an unknown man recording his teenage son, who is seen sitting on a sofa with a game controller in his hands.

The irate dad, while holding his son's report card, lashes out at the young man for lying about not receiving his report at school:

"What is this? Didn't you tell me they didn't give you your report at school, Poneho? So what is this? Didn't you say the machines were broken?
"Two subjects? Do you want to go back home? You want to fail while living under my roof? What is this?"

"Porry" goes on to order his frightened son to read the report card and confirm his results, and the boy adds fuel to the fire by reading out "Promotion" instead of what's really written on the paper:

"Promotion where? Do you even know what promotion means? It says Not promoted."
