South African hip hop rapper Da L.E.S recently made headlines again on social media as he shared his latest health update after surviving a stroke on his birthday in 2024.

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, the star, who confirmed he moved to the States to have his mother take care of him while he recovered from the stroke, shared a video of himself on TikTok learning how to walk again at the age of 40.

Da L.E.S has always been open and vocal about his recovery process on social media. In July 2025, it appeared that the rapper was only able to use one of his arms a year after suffering a life-threatening stroke.

In more entertainment news, Briefly News previously reported that the award-winning rapper, Da L.E.S broke his silence after he suffered from a stroke in July 2024. The star shared a statement where he gave an update on his health after he left the hospital by posting on his Instagram page.
