Bathong, what was meant to be an insightful interview on radio turned out to be a messy "fight" between the popular broadcaster Anele Mdoda and politician Helen Zille.

What a way to start a week, huh! On Monday, 22 September 2025, radio 947 announced on their social media page that the DA's federal council chairperson will be interviewed by Helen Zille and her team on their breakfast show, regarding the politician being unveiled as the DA's mayoral candidate for Johannesburg in the 2026 elections.

However, this interview took a heated turn when the two women were at each other's throats, exchanging words which left many social media users with mixed emotions.
