Inno Matijane is not here for unsolicited opinions about his love life. The media personality posted a video on 20 August 2026 that had Mzansi talking after he publicly shamed a woman who allegedly suggested she would never date someone who had previously been gay.

Dropping his trademark gentle delivery for a bolder, more cutting tone, Matijane wasted no time making his position clear: he never wanted her to begin with.

"'I would never date a guy that was what what,' Wait a minute, my sister, calm down. Who said I want you? Somebody gotta want you so you can stop thinking that everybody wants you. You saw my hun, and you looked at yourself and thought you had the audacity to comment."

The video surfaced just days after the entrepreneur officially introduced his new girlfriend to the world, sharing affectionate photos of the couple together. At the time, he had already taken a lighthearted approach to the public scrutiny by joking about his digital footprint and the old photos of him in women's clothing that people had started digging up since the relationship became public.

Matijane announced his decision to detransition in mid-2024, when he shared that he chose to revert to using he/him pronouns and embrace his faith as a born-again Christian.
