The clip, which surfaced on X on Thursday, 24 September 2026, features a panel discussion between Shamiso Mosaka, Londie London, and entertainment commentator Phil Mphela. Filmed on a colourful set adorned with pink velvet couches, floral wall backdrops, and studio microphones, the conversation quickly took a provocative turn when the topic of trans identities came up.

What Shamiso said on the Podcast

Shamiso argued that a straight man who dates a trans woman should still be considered straight, reasoning that if a trans woman identifies as a woman, then her partner is still dating a woman. "If they say they're a woman and identify as a woman, then that person is still dating a woman, just not a biological one," she said during the discussion. Phil and Londie, however, appeared reluctant to fully agree, with Phil suggesting such a man would be bisexual or pansexual rather than straight.

X user captured the energy in the room succinctly, writing: "Shamiso argues that a man dating a transgender woman is straight, leaving Phil and Londie giving her the side eye."
