Lasizwe Dambuza has had enough. The influencer and YouTuber went public with a years-long frustration over vehicle tracking company Netstar, urging his followers to exercise caution when dealing with the brand.

Posting on X on 16 October 2026, Lasizwe did not hold back, opening with a blunt: "BE CAREFUL WITH NETSTAR!"

Inside Lasizwe's battle with Netstar

According to Lasizwe, the ordeal stretches back years and has involved multiple emails, numerous calls to the Netstar call centre, and even official written confirmation that his account had been cancelled - none of which stopped the debit orders from going through.

"Imagine having to CLOSE your entire bank account just to stop a company from taking your money. This is the point Netstar has pushed me to!" he wrote.

What made the situation even more baffling for Lasizwe is that every time he managed to block a debit order, a new one would surface under a different name. He questioned directly, "HOW IS THIS ALLOWED?"

The star was candid about how draining the experience has been.

"I'm genuinely exhausted. Years of money being deducted for a service I've repeatedly asked to cancel," he shared.

"Yes, please avoid @NetstarSA; they like doing this. You will call them and complain a thousand times, but still nothing."

Beyond venting, some followers offered Lasizwe and those in similar situations practical advice, ranging from seeking legal assistance to making structural changes to their bank accounts to cut off the company's access entirely.
