Musa Mseleku has set social media alight after posting a carefully worded statement on his official Instagram page on 20 October 2026, teasing that something significant is on the horizon without giving anything away.

The statement itself was dated 15 October, five days before it went live, suggesting the famous polygamist and businessman had been sitting on the news for a little while. In it, Mseleku acknowledged that those who follow his life closely would read between the lines.

Musa Mseleku hints at "next chapter"

"As someone who has never shied away from my beliefs about family, growth and building with purpose, I understand that the next chapter of my life will naturally invite questions," the Uthando Nesthembu reality TV star wrote.

He went on to confirm that "a new chapter is taking shape and the family is growing," while admitting that the deliberately vague wording would "raise many eyebrows."

Rather than clear the air, Mseleku leaned further into the mystery: "I understand the curiosity, but some things are best revealed at the right time."

He stressed that "building remains at the heart of everything I do," and signed off with a promise to share more details when the time was right.

"As I look ahead, I am excited about what is taking shape and the possibilities that lie before me."

Sixth wife or another baby?

The post wasted no time sparking a wave of speculation online. A large portion of followers jumped straight to the most obvious conclusion given Mseleku's well-documented lifestyle: that a sixth wife is about to be introduced to the family. Currently, Mseleku has five wives, making the addition of another one the most talked-about theory in the comments.

Others pointed to his widely known ambition of fathering 20 children, with several fans speculating that the announcement could be baby-related. There was particular curiosity around his wife Thobile, known as MaKhumalo, with followers wondering whether she might be expecting.

A third camp of followers wondered whether the post had less to do with family in the literal sense and more to do with his hit reality show potentially returning for another season.

Many, however, were not in the mood for guessing games. Given that Mseleku rarely publishes formal statements of this nature, quite a few followers made clear they simply wanted answers, and sooner rather than later.
