Babalwa M and Kelvin Momo continue to dispel those breakup rumours.

The vocalist was recently seen grooving to a song by Momo entitled Jaiva, which features Omit ST, making it clear she and the producer are on good terms.

In the video shared by Piano Connect, Babalwa can be seen dancing and singing along to the song as she teases the camera with a knowing smile.

Rumours of their breakup first started swirling last year and were fueled when Momo was spotted with another woman, Johannesburg-based film producer Manasseh Kali.

Babalwa M enjoys working with Kelvin Momo

Whether they are an item or not, one thing is for certain: Babalwa M and Kelvin Momo make magic together in the studio.

The singer agrees and says that when she works with Momo, it never feels like a job.

In an interview with Sunday World, Babalwa opened up about mixing business and pleasure and said that, fortunately, the couple know when to unwind and focus on their relationship.

As with any other relationship, she adds that "there’s good that can come with the bad".

But they make it work:

“However, what works for us as a couple in the entertainment industry may not work for the next couple in the entertainment world.”

Babalwa M, whose full name is Babalwa Mavuso, always knew she had a beautiful voice because she sang in the church choir while growing up.

The singer says she got into the industry by chance when, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she and Kelvin Momo created music together for fun.

“We eventually decided to share our craft with the masses, and we’ve never looked back.”

The Bo Thatha hitmaker describes music as something that's part of her and Momo's DNA, saying that it's something they "eat, live and breathe".

“We aim to always create and share what we feel is worthy of being shared with others."
