The SABC has confirmed that Kagiso Modupe's upcoming telenovela, Pimville, will replace Muvhango, which ended in August 2025.

The Citizen reported on Friday, 26 November 2025, that Pimville will screen its first episode in 2026, but the public broadcaster hasn’t disclosed exactly when the show will air.

“The telenovela is set to debut in the first half of 2026, Mondays to Fridays in the 21:00 slot," said the channel.
