A humorous encounter involving Ngizwe Mchunu, a well-known figure from KZN, and a man he believed resembled DJ Black Coffee became a source of great amusement.

The entertaining clip, shared on his TikTok account @ngizweonlinemchunu, gathered a large number of views, comments, and likes, indicating its popular appeal.

The video captured Ngizwe Mchunu, known for his direct and expressive personality, approaching a man accompanied by his wife at an American airport. He confidently told the man that he looked exactly like Black Coffee. Initially, the man appeared puzzled, perhaps struggling to determine the name or to grasp the strong South African accent. Ngizwe then proceeded to explain who Black Coffee was, emphasising the DJ's global icon status. He humorously added that if the man put one hand in his pocket, the resemblance would be even more bizarre.

The man's wife, intrigued, attempted to search for the DJ online and asked for the correct spelling of his name. As the couple began to walk, Ngizwe continued to compliment the man's dark skin tone, noting its similarity to the DJ's complexion, all while incorporating his comments with a few words of isiZulu. He concluded by requesting the man send a shout-out to Black Coffee, which the man respectfully did, even taking off his hat as they continued their stroll.

The amusing interaction provided entertainment for many social media users. Some observed that the resemblance to the "Superman" hitmaker was indeed strong, but lessened once the man removed his cap. Others commented on the topic of Black Coffee's popularity, suggesting he was more widely recognised in Europe, where house music enjoys greater favour, than in the United States, where rap music tends to dominate the charts.
