A young woman named Nompumelelo claimed that she looked like the award-winning media personality Jessica Nkosi, and local social media users thought she wasn't telling a word of a lie. People could not believe how similar the two women looked.

On 24 August, 2025, the South African TikTok user uploaded a clip on her account showing how her features resembled the TV presenter. Jessica is also best known for her leading roles in Ayeye, Isibaya, The Queen, and Lavish.

Jessica Nkosi's lookalike stuns South Africans

The viral video, which has received nearly 400 000 views since its publication, has many local social media users coming together in agreement that Nompumelelo resembles the actress. However, the names of other media personalities were also seen under the post.
