A wedding celebration took a shocking and dramatic turn after the groom took out his anger on the cake when his wife scolded him in front of guests.

The clip, shared on TikTok by @mrluckylooks, garnered 1.9M views, 64.8K likes, and 2.5K comments from social media users, with mixed feelings and questions.

The video, filmed at a wedding venue, shows the man using his finger to dig into the side of the cake and then taste it. The woman, who is clearly unhappy about the act, can be seen scolding him with a serious face. The man loses his temper and pushes the wedding cake, a massive one decorated with raspberries and blackberries, to the floor. The cake falls to the floor, with guests gathered around it in the wedding venue.

A wedding day gone wrong

After he threw the cake, the hurt bride became emotional and walked out of the venue. Another video that was shared by user @olya_chashuk shows the couple happy and dancing to the music and the guests' cheers. The man and his wife are seen decorating the cake with raspberries and blackberries. The video shows a couple who are in love and happy, which made the final moment of the cake being pushed to the floor even more shocking.

SA reacts to the man's rant

Social media users flooded the comments section, reacting with mixed views. Many were shocked by the man's behaviour, saying that if his anger could get to that level in a room full of people, they wondered what he was like when they were alone.

Some said the lady started it, questioning why she would have a problem with the man tasting his cake on his special day. They said the man's reaction was a result of his wife's unnecessary scolding. Others refused to take sides, saying the couple's behaviours were both bad and that they deserved each other.
