A young woman from Venda, Limpopo, had South Africa cheering her on after sharing her graduation moment on TikTok. Dr Molebogeng Sewela Kadosh, who goes by @_drkadosh on the platform, posted the clip on 9 September 2026, and it quickly struck a chord with viewers across the country.
In her post, she described her journey as moving from Venda to Cape Town with what she called “an unusual dream” of becoming a psychiatrist. Her goal, she wrote, was to heal her community from the effects of trauma through an approach built on mutual respect, professional boundaries, and authentic relationships.
The degree she earned twice
What made her story even more remarkable was what she revealed in the comments. Dr Sewela disclosed that she is the only medical specialist in South Africa to have graduated with the same degree twice, in 2023 and again in 2026.
