Ancelotti on Chelsea boss Maresca
Speaking with former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, on the Obi One Podcast, the recently crowned Champions League winner is not concerned with Maresca's experience.
"Experience is not the most important part of our job. It’s part of our job, but of course, the most important part is the knowledge," Ancelotti said via Metro.
The veteran manager highlighted Maresca's experience working at Manchester City and with the Foxes, saying it will be helpful.
"And the fact that he has experience with Pep Guardiola and with Leicester City, I think he has the knowledge to manage and to do well at Chelsea."
Maresca helped the Foxes win promotion back to the Premier League last season.
Chelsea's last trophy win was three years ago when they lifted the 2021 Champions League crown after beating Man City in the final.
