'Elephant Man' Says He Has 20 Children, Wants Fathers To Serve as Positive Role Models

During an interview, Gully Creeper hitmaker Elephant Man revealed that he is a father of 20 children.
The Jamaican musician noted that kids always look up to their fathers as they have a different parenting style from mothers.
Fathers have different parenting styles
Therefore, the energetic entertainer encouraged dads to be good role models to their children for a healthier society.

"I believe fathers have the influence of making their children grow up and become good citizens. This is because, in parenthood, kids look up to their fathers more than to their mothers.
We have a parenting style that differs significantly from that of a mother, and this difference is important in fostering healthy child development,” he said as reported by the Observer.
Be a positive influence
The 46-year-old led by example as he told the media outlet that all his 20 kids look up to him for positive influence.
The proud dad explained that some of his kids want to follow in his career footpath, being recording artists or dancers.
"For this reason, I try to maintain positive energy by being mindful of the activities I take part in and try not to sing songs that will influence them or any other children in a negative way,” he shared.
The Pon de River, Pon de Bank singer, noted the struggle in balancing between his career and duties as a father.
Everybody wants daddy
Live concerts and appearances demand so much of his presence that he misses spending time with family.
Since most of his kids reside in the US, he always plans to be with them during summer and have fun.
"Everybody wants to see daddy, so what I plan to do is take them to the beach or a river, or keep a party at my home and just hold a vibe,” he stated.
Elephant's Man perfect Father's Day gift
As Father's Day approaches, the renowned dancehall musician disclosed his best gift for the special day.
"For me, a perfect Father’s Day gift for Elephant Man would be having all the kids around you, food, everybody at the river or the beach, or the pool yard. Everybody full of joy, enjoying themselves and having a great time," he clarified.

In more family news, Briefly News previously reported that a couple, Kimberly Alarcon and her husband, John Alarcon, has welcomed their third pair of twins at Westchester Medical Center in the United States of America.
The Wallkill, New York couple is already parents to eight children, including their three-year-old foster child.
