Mzansi Twitter believes that Nasty C is the best rapper in the country.

This came out after a celeb, Sizwe Dlomo, asked social media users to name an artist that they backed from day one and who has gone on to become a superstar.

The majority of tweeps who responded to Sizwe's question stan Nasty C. They believe he still has potential to conquer the international hip-hop scene.

Sizwe posted:

"Name an artist that you backed from jump when you first heard them & it worked out. Now name one where it didn’t? I thought Joe Budden was gone when I first heard him! Funny enough, I liked Drake but even I didn’t think he’d be this big. I also had high hopes for Papoose."

Tweeps flooded Sizwe's timeline with Nasty's name.

Some peeps even suggested that the Juice Back hitmaker should soon jump on a track with one of the best rappers in the world, Drake.

Nasty has worked with US internationally recognised rappers such as A$AP Ferg and French Montana.

@Karid_TheRapper commented:

"When my friend introduced me to Nasty C with Juice Back in 2015 and I thought he was from the US. Three months later, he shot Hell Naw in my school and I became a stan."

"First Time I heard Nasty C's Juice Back I knew that boy was outta here!!"

Briefly.co.za gathered that some of the rappers whose names were also mentioned a couple of times on the list were AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta and ProVerb.

Peeps said they thought rapper Maggz would be big when they first heard his music but were disappointed when he disappeared from the music scene.
