Cassper Nyovest has accused AKA of lying about signing their boxing match contract. Supa Mega took to Twitter recently and shared that he has signed the contract to their highly-anticipated fight aimed at settling their beef.
Mufasa took to Twitter a few days ago and disputed his arch-rival's claims about the contract. The Amademoni hitmaker still insists that the papers have not been signed. He expressed that he would only believe AKA when he received the signed contract. Cass replied on the micro-blogging app:
"Lmao. That contract is going to go back into the drawer it's been chilling in nicely for months now. That guy doesn't want to fight. I'll believe it when the signed contract is handed in. For now, ima gonna go play Fifa with Carpo and speak gugugaga with my beautiful son."
Tweeps took to the rapper's comment section to share their thoughts on his post accusing AKA of lying to his fans on Twitter. Check out some of their comments below:
"AKA is hungry, clubs and taverns are closed, he is struggling to make money with no bookings. Now he is trying all this."
"Show us YOUR signed contract, so we know for sure he's the one stalling!"
"The one who initiated the fight must draft the contract, sign it and send it to the opponent... don't be lazy to think."
"But has SA hip hop really lost value to that level?? That rappers settle beefs in boxing rings than in booths?? Or I missed something?"
"Cassper iphi eyakho i contract that is signed, at least we saw his eyakho akaze siyibona but you claim that AKA is the one who has not signed."
In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA has revealed that he has signed the contract to his boxing match with arch-rival Cassper Nyovest. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, 7 January and told a fan that the fight will be happening.
The tweep had asked if the highly-anticipated bout was ever going to happen. The two stars decided to settle their differences in a boxing ring after their long-standing beef. Although the date of the fight has not been confirmed, the Fela In Versace rapper replied:
"If I could post a picture of my signature I would."
Supa Mega went on to tell his fans that he cannot walk away from the fight because he stands to make serious money out of it.
"You need to understand... the bag is too serious to ignore."
A tweep @Vumase_BM then asked the musician-turned-TV presenter how much the winner of the fight will take home. AKA replied:
"Contractually I’m not allowed to disclose this type of info."
