Babes Wodumo has opened up about the career moves she's making during her latest interview on Podcast and Chill with MacG. The Gqom queen said that she's excited to be working on some new stuff and she's made a partnership with Amapiano star Kamo Mphela.
Babes Wodumo said that she considers Kamo Mphela a little sister in the business and she's worked with her on a song already. She said that she's done an Amapiano song with Kamo and it is going to be released soon.
The Gqom queen said that she wasn't really sure about how she would manage because Amapiano is a lot more different from her sound. Luckily Kamo came to the rescue and showed her how it's done.
Kamo herself is also curious about Gqom and she asked Babes to help her step into the genre as well. The Amapiano artist did a Gqom song with Babes too.
After a successful album release in 2020, Babes is back and better than ever. She's ready to try out some new things in her career and is excited about where the journey is going to take her.
Babes Wodumo said that she's not where she wants to be in her career yet and she would love to share a stage with Beyoncé one day.
