Ralf Gum emphasises the importance of artistic rights

Although he mentioned that he meant no harm in his response, Ralf Gum highlighted the importance of preserving music and leaving it as is. Especially classic hits such as Take Me To My Love featuring Monique Bingham.

Prince Kaybee had shared his intentions to remix the classic song, saying he loves the original, but Ralf responded with a simple "DON'T."

He is against the idea of remixing as he believes it is a shortcut, and often the original owner of the song does not benefit, resulting in their loss of income.

"I think that too often these days, producers want to take the shortcut of taking a popular vocal and making their own version. This usually happens as bootlegs, and the owner of the song/masterowner does not benefit in any way, often losing out on income because there is now a competing version."

"As well and in a nutshell, I believe that no one can come to social media and claim the right to use someone else’s work. It is simply about rights."

The Give It To You hitmaker concluded by saying he has no problem with Prince Kaybee and is open to working with him one day.

"This said, I have absolutely no problem with Prince Kaybee and if the stars align, I am of course ready to work with him. He’s very talented, after all."
