American actor Bruce Willis is reportedly battling brain disease, which has now affected his daily life.

News of the Die Hard actor's health was first shared in 2022, when doctors diagnosed him with aphasia. Later on in 2023, the action star was said to have frontotemporal dementia.

Bruce Willis's health is deteriorating

On Facebook, a celebrity news page, Cultura Colectiva, reported that those close to Bruce are not sure if he is aware of what is happening to him at this stage. “It’s hard to know if he’s aware of what’s happening to him. His joy for life is gone.” It is said that the star is now losing his ability to walk, read or speak.

"Bruce Willis can no longer speak or read, and he has difficulty walking. In 2023, Bruce Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) after initially being diagnosed with aphasia."

According to The Express Tribune, Willis' family, which has been actively informing his supporters of his health, is yet to confirm the recent reports of the actor's condition.

The last update they gave fans was in April 2025, when they announced that he was stable despite the disease progressing. Willis made headlines in 2021 after he refused to wear a mask at a pharmacy, resulting in him getting kicked out.

Bruce Willis fans from across social media have sent their prayers and well wishes to Bruce and his family.

Zana Grant remarked:

"I loved the early TV show with Sybil Shepard, Moon something. Then the action movies, but the comedic stuff was great. I hope he can enjoy the love his family is bestowing on him and the love his fans have for him. In so many ways, he is a lucky man. May he find some peace. We need better medicine."
