Award-winning South African rapper Emtee’s alleged side chick, Maipelo Lentswe, popularly known as Sugababiie, has broken her silence and clarified the nature of their relationship. Emtee became a topic of online discussion after his wife, Nicole Chinsamy, alleged leaked his private conversations with several women.
Big Brother Mzansi Season 2 contestant Mshini clarified the nature of her relationship with Emtee. The other woman, Maipelo Lentswe, popularly known as sugababiie, claimed she was romantically involved with Emtee and explained why she asked him for R7,000.

Emtee's alleged side chick opens up
Taking to her Instagram stories on Monday, 11 August 2025, Sugababiie alleged that Emtee was the one who had pursued her. She claimed that she was in a romantic relationship with the Abazazi Bafunani rapper. The Instagram story read:
“Half-truths. 🩻You followed me first, texted me first, hit on me, said I’m the best thing to happen to you, laid up on my bed and gave me princess treatment, now you want to make it seem like that? She can keep you fr!”

Emtee's alleged side chick explains R7K request
While explaining why she asked him for R7,000, Maipelo Lentswe emphasised that she and Emtee were not casually hooking up. She claims that she needed R25,000 but ended up asking for R7,000 so that she could look presentable when she and Emtee went on dates.
She alleges that Emtee said he was no longer with his wife and the mother of his three children, Nicole Chinsamy. Sugababiie suggested that Emtee needs to be saved, but did not clarify from whom or what. She wrote:

In another Instagram story, sugababiie had a few words for Emtee’s wife, Nicole Chinsamy. She slammed the rapper’s wife and made some damning allegations against her.
“I know what’s gwanning. And fvck that wh#re tryna make it seem like I sell just coz she’s the one who sells! And leaves that niqqa sleeping to chow men who afford her. Crazy ass witch!”
