Mondlana has been making strides after dumping her job as a teacher for full-time content creation. The DStv Content Creator Awards Emerging Creator Award winner recently secured a lucrative brand deal with a Chinese car manufacturer and made South African history in the process.

Taking to her Instagram account on Monday, 11 August 2025, Grace Mondlana announced that she had secured a deal as GWM South Africa’s first brand ambassador in the company's 18-year presence in the country.

As part of her brand deal, Grace was upgraded from her modest car and given a luxury SUV priced at a staggering R614,500 according to the GWM official website. Her post was captioned:
