Who is Sizwe Dhlomo without a little humble bragging? The radio personality has become synonymous with flashiness, and today was no different.
Taking to his Twitter (X) page on 12 August 2025, the former LiveAmp host unwrapped and showed off his new broadcast desk for his home studio:
"Fusion broadcast desk for the home studio."
A broadcast desk is typically used by professionals in the broadcasting industry, including radio and television stations, and those involved in audio production.

Beyond music and radio, home studios can be used for podcasting, voice-over recording and much more, right from the comfort of your home. While his studio is reserved for personal use, it's evident that Sizwe has big plans on the horizon.

Sizwe reveals plans for his home studio
The radio personality shared more insight into his home studio, with a brief tour of the structure before the equipment was installed.
On 7 August, he posted footage from a warehouse, as his studio's internal frame was being built.

One follower, illythehost, was curious about the size of Sizwe's studio and the cost thereof. He also asked whether the quality would be similar to that of his current radio station, Kaya 959, to which he responded:
"Mine will actually be better."
He later retracted his statement:
"It’s exactly the same as the Kaya one. Built by the same people. Here’s the structure and assembly in the warehouse."
And the cost? The seasoned radio jock revealed in follow-up responses from fans roughly how much it cost to secure such a massive project.
AmuMabasa2 stated that a studio costs around R350K, including the equipment, soundproofing and other hardware jobs. However, Sizwe revealed it was much more than that:
