South African singer Kelly Khumalo sent an unexpected plea to fellow South Africans.
The controversial reality TV star posed a request for help after a young follower reached out to her, pleading for help ahead of her Matric dance.
According to Kelly, the young lady asked for help with her dress, and the singer took it upon herself to help her feel special on her big day:
"I have this girl who requested a matric dance dress from me, and she doesn't even know that I'm doing this. However, I feel that she deserves to have the Matric dance of her dreams."
In her video, posted on 10 September 2025, Kelly revealed that she had secured half of what was needed and asked for more help to glam up the young lady for her farewell.
"I need your help. We have the dress, we have makeup, a photographer and transport. Now we need shoes, we need nails, hair, an after-party outfit and possibly a hotel room to get ready."

Kelly's gracious gesture was met with mixed reactions on social media from users who were unwilling to chip in due to her controversial past.

Online users weren't buying Kelly's plea and instead demanded answers regarding her alleged involvement in the Senzo Meyiwa case.
