Netizens filled the comments with mixed reactions. While others offered Mbekezeli Mbokazi advice, others suggested that the Orlando Pirates defender was in good hands, and some criticised the video.
Here are some of the comments:

“This is bad company 🤞, no matter how we look at it. Mbokazi must stay away from such people; they're capitalising on his stardom, using the Mkhaya excuse.”

@VistaMavuthela advised:
“Nothing wrong with being indoors and drinking. However, TLB's agent and family need to act swiftly in making sure they protect him from shady individuals or else he will never reach his full potential.”
@redcardexpert said:
“Mbokazi is allowed to enjoy himself. I believe he's professional and old enough to know what he's doing. Leave Mbokazi alone. The boy is young, and I'm sure he has guidance.”
@Zinhlezakhe highlighted:
“It’s so sad that when Sandile Mthethwa chills with these guys daily and there are no negative comments, but when TLB does it, it’s a problem. Big Zulu is a responsible Grootman; he won’t let the boy do wrong things in front of him.”
@BThabanyane said:
“I think it's a wholly bad idea for Mbokazi to be there, whether drinking or not. He's a brand, and he needs to protect it at all costs. If indeed he's not drinking, there could be false rape allegations or any accusations that might besmirch him.”
